The “Truckster and the Plan’

Vacation. Clark’s adventure is one to always be remembered…why driving gives you so much more. Family Time, cooler lunches at rest areas, and many bathroom breaks. I still hear these words echo in my head before any vacation…”Always get a good once over before you leave”, my Dad always said. The “Waldo Family Truckster” is tuned and ready to go, baby.
Part of any vacation is planning the sights. To make it more interesting you need to be on a quest to find the “Strange and Unusual in Small Town America”. I know my Dad wouldn’t have forced me to go to a lot of this stupid stuff, but I prove to be different with my kids.
We are heading to the Washington D.C. first…then up to check out the Liberty Bell (Let Freedom Ring :)) then to New York City, then to Nargra Falls…and back to Minnesota for a week to see my parents (Hi Mom, Hi Dad).
I am online-on the road thanks to (shameless plug) PCC Internet Group in Middletown. We will be checking sights cool for this family road trip: www.roadsideamerica.com.
